Digital Mixing for Live Sound

About this product

Looking for a sound mixing course in Singapore? Want to learn more about operating sound systems?

Ever been told instructions such as “Only bring up the fader to here”, or “Don’t touch that knob”? Ever wondered why there are certain “rules” in place? Or what are you trying to achieve with processors such as EQ and Compression?

If you answered yes to any of the above, this sound engineering course is for you.

Digital Mixing for Live Sound is a 7-session, computer-aided course that covers the principles of operating a digital sound mixer – a critical component of any sound system.

However, knowing what the gear does alone is not enough – knowing what to listen out for and to do with your equipment is MUCH MORE critical. Therefore, this digital mixing course in Singapore focuses on the person behind the sound console and works on developing his or her personal skills and, most importantly, his or her ears.

The Digital Mixing for Live Sound course is geared towards live sound operators – those who stand behind the console and are responsible for what everyone in the room hears. It ideal for new team members who need a systematic introduction to sound and for old hands who want to deepen their understanding of mixing bands.
